Kelkoo Signs Major International Deal with Google
Published on July 22nd, 2009 by PressUKLondon , 22nd July 2009: Kelkoo, Europe’s largest shopping comparison site, has today announced that it has signed a major international advertising deal with Google.
The new deal will see sponsored links from Google displayed on product search results pages on Kelkoo’s 10 existing sites across Europe. Sponsored links may also be displayed on any new international sites that Kelkoo launches in the future. The deal will make Kelkoo the first shopping comparison site to list sponsored links from both Google and Yahoo! – something which previously had been reserved to publishers.
The deal will give Kelkoo customers more comprehensive search results, with the ability to view relevant content from Google and Yahoo! in addition to results from Kelkoo’s own listings of more than 3.5 million products from over 10,000 online retailers.
The agreement will also give more retailers, such as those who advertise with Google and who are not currently listed on Kelkoo, the ability to gain access to millions of Kelkoo users by appearing in Google’s sponsored links section.
